Dear friends,

I’ve spent my time, including my time in public office, fighting to abolish systems that rob us of our agency and our community. We need elected leaders who are willing to fight to make this city truly affordable, not just for the wealthy few, but for all working families, artists, educators, and elders who make New York City what it is.

That’s why I supported Zohran last June and why I’m supporting James Felton Keith for U.S. Congress in 2026. James understands that affordability is about how we use federal funding to meet this moment. His campaign is building a movement to take back the equity we are owed and dismantle an economy that works for only a privileged few. He’s building a plan that brings real investment into housing, childcare, education, and a guaranteed income, so that the residents of Harlem and the NW Bronx that make up NY Congressional District 13 can thrive instead of struggle.

Please join us next Thursday for a Mayoral Debate Watch Party at Harlem Tavern, and a chance to learn more about James Felton Keith’s run for congress.

Let’s build an affordable city together. One that keeps us all in the neighborhoods we love.

Warm Regards,

Kristin Richardson Jordan

Former Council Member, District 9 – Harlem
