Our Congressman Voted to Increase ICE use of AI with $200,000,000 of Tech — It’s Time to Take Action

One of the reasons I'm running for Congress is because my opponent voted yes to the
H.R.993 - Emerging Innovative Border Technologies Act
This gives ICE the power to spend on Facial Recognition AI, Robotic Dogs, and new apps in their phones to better track our movements and arrest us.
This guy is not helping immigrants like my husband and his family, even as he claims to be their advocate. Our congressman is available to be sold to the highest bidder. He has also signed on to a packet of border defense acts that further fund the lawless pursuits of the Trump administration to criminalize more immigrants and foreign nationals.
On day-1 as Congressman I will propose a bill that codifies the protections that American citizens have with the 4th and 5th Amendment for all foreign nationals and immigrants in this country. Due process is what separates the politics of inclusionism from that of fascism that we are witnessing today.
If we do nothing — if we stay silent — we let this stand. We let our congressman and ICE take away the sense of safety and belonging from entire communities.
But all is not lost. We have power when we stand together. That’s why we’re hosting an important training for anyone who wants to protect their friends, neighbors, and community.
Join Us: “Hands Off Uptown: Anti‑ICE Training”
When: December 11, 2025, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Where: 115th & 3rd, East Harlem, New York, NY
At this session you’ll learn how to respond if you see ICE in your neighborhood — or if you suspect a friend or neighbor might be at risk. It’s about solidarity, shared vigilance, and standing up for each other when institutions turn against us.
If you believe in community over enforcement, if you believe that no person should fear being “taken” from their daily life without cause — then this training is for you.
RSVP now and bring others who care. Spread the word. The time to protect our neighborhoods is now.
